The figures you type never leave your browser

Every calculator on this site runs entirely in your browser. The weekly amount, the rate, the number of weeks: none of it is transmitted, logged, or stored on any server. There is no server to send it to: the site is a set of static files. Reload the page and the numbers are gone.

What is stored on your device

One thing: the currency you pick from the header, kept in localStorage under the key sharkbucks.currency so the site remembers it on your next visit. It holds a currency code such as USD and nothing else. Clearing your browser data removes it.

The site itself sets no cookies, except the ones Google Analytics sets (see below). No account exists to create. No email address is collected anywhere on this site.

Analytics and advertising

This site uses Google Analytics to count visits and see which pages are read. Google Analytics sets cookies and receives your IP address and browser details, with the page you opened. The calculator inputs never leave your browser and are not part of that data. There is no advertising on this site. If advertising is added, this page will say so before it goes live, and readers in regions that require a consent choice will be asked for one.

What the server sees

Serving a page necessarily involves your IP address and browser reaching the host. Those requests are handled by the hosting provider under its own operational logging; this site keeps no visitor records of its own beyond the Google Analytics counts described above.

Your calculator entries stay private

SharkBucks does not collect calculator entries. They remain in your browser unless you choose to share them.
